When Jayda Moores (pseudo name) suspected her husband Daniel was cheating, she did what many might do and checked his phone. But Daniel, a seasoned corporate lawyer, had learned to cover his tracks. His texts were clean, calls were short, and his phone was always locked and face-down. But Jayda couldn’t shake the feeling. “He started working late, guarding his phone like it was a state secret,” she recalls. “I knew something was wrong. I just didn’t know how to prove it.” That’s when she stumbled into a digital underworld she never imagined she'd enter, one filled with coders-for-hire, and got the email address of one phone hacker who promised her the truth for a price (gearhead @ engineer . com). He goes by the alias GearHead Engineers. They didn’t ask for much backstory, just Daniel’s phone number and a partial payment in cryptocurrency. Jayda hesitated. Was it legal? Moral? Safe? “I knew it was a gray area,” she admits. “But I felt like I was being gaslit. I needed proof.” Within 7 hours, Gearhead Engineers delivered. Not just a log of messages, but entire access to his phone. Daniel had been messaging a woman named Claire, someone from his past. Their conversations were encrypted on a hidden app Jayda had never heard of. The content was clear: emotional intimacy, late-night hotel plans, and even code names. Although it is uncouth, Gearhead Engineers helped her get the truth.
